| QUALIFICATIONS: |

Associate Degree or two years experience in related field. Experience in purchasing and knowledge of comparative buying; ability to analyze cost effectiveness of purchased items over a period of time; computer literate; verbal and written communication skills; organizational skills. Assist the Director of Purchasing with all functions of the Purchasing Department, research and negotiate with vendors, place and expedite orders, maintain Agency cell phones, travel to vendors for purchases when needed, etc. Must have and maintain a valid NYS Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record. |
